A sweet theorem - novel by Franco di Mare
A fun story of love and cooking with a whiff of seafood, olive oil and lemons, topped with southern recipes and bittersweet comparisons to life as only the Italian south can serve us.
Franco Di Mare is a famous Italian journalist and writer. His first novel, Don't Ask Me Why, was adapted with the title The Angel of Sarajevo. After the success of his penultimate book, Café of Miracles, which is set in the fictional village of Bauchi, the story in the present novel takes place there again, on the Amalfi Riviera, born of the author's attraction to the remarkable culinary traditions of his native Naples and the surrounding area.
