Sauvignon Blanc
The latest discoveries from the wine treasure trove of the New World, South Africa, are now here. The new vintages from Keermont, Raats, Donovan Rall, Radford Dale, as well as the new addition Bouchard Finlayson. A boutique winery from the "Garden of Eden," the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley — the Mecca of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in South Africa. Among Keermont's selection is the cult “Riverside” Chenin Blanc from a vineyard planted in 1974.
We’ve managed to acquire a small batch of two extremely limited blends from star winemaker Donovan Rall, whose wines are described as “the aroma and taste of the Swartland terroir,” and for which the “scarcity” factor truly applies.
Two more gems are the iconic “Galpin Peak” Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the “Crocodile’s Lair” of Bouchard Finlayson. These are two special New World wines that over the years have become modern classics and a testament to how elegantly the South African terroir can express the nobility of these two legendary grape varieties.
