Glenmorangie whiskies are produced in the Highlands, the northernmost part of Scotland. They are distilled in Scotland's highest copper pot stills and aged in the finest oak casks, which are only used twice to produce the purest and most elegant whiskies. The distillery is renowned as an innovator in whisky making, combining tradition with innovation, resulting in malt whiskies of 'unnecessarily' high quality. In recognition of its uncompromising quality, the distillery was awarded the prestigious 'World's Best Distillery' award at the 2012 International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC).
