Inspired by Dr. Bill's passion for Japanese culture, fashion and cuisine, Glenmorangie Tale of Tokyo weaves together the contradictory and multifaceted nature of Tokyo. Aged in barrels of Bourbon, Sherry and one of Japan's most sought-after trees, the Mizunara oak, Tale of Tokyo recounts the wonders of Tokyo. The nose is sharp and herbal, with notes of incense and caramel, along with a curious herbal top note like beeswax, followed by wood resin and a hint of cedar wood. The palate produces a slightly peppery mouthfeel leading to aromas of oak, fennel or vetiver root, ground white pepper, sharp oranges, bitter cherries, almonds and wood resin. The colour is reddish-bronze 'like the rising sun'. Welcome to a Tokyo tale told by Dr. Bill!
