Dense and concentrated, with a fine tannic structure, Touriga Nacional is distinguished by the delicacy characteristic of the Quinta do Noval style. It is the product of a rigorous selection of the best wines produced by the winery in a given year. The nose is expressive with intense aromas of berries and violets combined with peppery accents and hints of chocolate. On the palate it is very pleasant, with integrated notes of wood combined with a robust tannic structure. This is an expressive varietal wine that will improve in the bottle for many years.The wine is aged in 225 litre French oak barrels for 12 months, with 20% of the barrels new, 60% of the barrels second fill and 20% of the barrels third fill.An exciting red wine, worthy of any festive table where it will sit well in the company of meat delicacies and grilled meats.

Quinta do Noval е историческо име с емблематичен статут в света на виното. Touriga Nacional is perhaps the most appreciated and valued variety in Portugal, one of the base in the finest red wines from Dao and Douro wine regions, also a key ingredient in the fortified wines of Port together with Tempranillo. The variety displays bold dark-fruit flavours, often with hints of spice, leather and violet, has firm tannins and shows great ageing potential.
