Produced from 25 year old Tempranillo vines, grown оn stony, limestone soils the region of Cariñena. A vibrant and harmonious Tempranillo on both the nose and palate. Attractive strawberry fruit, subtly enhanced with notes of plum, fresh fig and with a lingering purity on the finish. Short ageing in old American and French oak for 3 months. A versatile wine, try with barbecued or grilled-meats and Mexican dishes.

Founded in 1984. by Christian Bouteiller and Jonathan Kennett, the team already has two Master of Wine winners - Fergal Tynan M.W and Giles Cooke M.W. Tempranillo
Almost every red wine in Spain from Rioja and Ribera del Duero has Tempranillo at its core, and in Portugal the variety is widely used in the Douro Valley – under the name Tinta Roriz – both for table wines and world-famous fortified wines (Port). The red wines based on Tempranillo are characterised by a wide range of aromas - from strawberries, blackcurrants and cherries to prunes, chocolate and tobacco depending on climate, vineyard age and oak ageing.
