Multilayered, voluminous and lively - a beautiful wine. In 2021, Plamena Abadzhieva will take her place as chief technologist at Chateau Avli, along with the consultants from VinoStudio - Nikolay Krastev, Radostin Milkov and Peter Georgiev.

The vineyards of the winery are located in the land of the village of Glushnik, Sliven region. There are two fields - Bozaluka and Rupov dol. The care of the vineyards started in 2006, and in 2018 a conversion was made and drip irrigation was built. The vineyards are located on terrains with clayey-stony soils. This terroir gives the wines exceptional minerality and is a major distinguishing element for their character. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand in crates, in mid-September. Fermentation takes place in small temperature-controlled inox tanks. The wine is aged for 10 months on the fine lees in French barriques.

The concept behind the creation of this blend was to reflect the specific stony terroir where the vineyards are located. The innovative work of the technologists combined with the particularities of the terroir is reflected in the pleasant fruit flavour. The wine follows the trend of elegant balanced wines, with a careful presence of oak ageing, making it easy to consume.

Шато Авли

Шато Авли, се намира в с. Глушник, Сливенска област. Името произлиза от средновековния град Авли, известен със земеделието и винопроизводството си. Лозята са засадени през 2006 г. като е използван френски посадъчен материал. Разположени са върху 330 дка на два масива (Бозалъка и Рупов дол) в подножието на сливенската планина – на терени с благодатни глинесто-каменисти почви, с южно изложение и отличен въздушен дренаж. Освен благоприятния си тероар, климатични особености и терен, земята е богата на няколко вида камъни, което също допринася за вкусовите качества и специфичния разпознаваем характер на вината. През 2018 г. е направена конверсия на лозята както е и изградено капково напояване и в двата масива. Отглежданите сортове са Каберне Фран, Каберне Совиньон, Мерло, Пино Ноар, Каладок, Сира, Мускат, Пино Гриджо, Гевюрцтраминер и Вионие.

In this region, which includes Southern Bulgaria, the climate is temperate continental protected from northern winds thanks to Stara Planina, with good rain distribution. It includes the central parts of the Thracian lowland and parts of Sakar. Most of the red grape varieties are concentrated in this area. Mavrud, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Muscat, Pamid and others are grown. The climatic conditions of the region favour the production of rich, dense, memorable red wines, especially from the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Mavrud. Good wines from the local variety Mavrud are especially valued for their aroma and taste of small red fruits, spices and herbs.
