Red Bottled Oppinions 2021
Our red wine bears the laconic name "Red" and the label illustrates beautifully our idea of the wines in this line: whether blended or single varietal, whether from local or international varieties, with each vintage we want to show a new interpretation of Bulgarian red wine.
Elegant, multi-layered and modern.
The 2021 vintage is a blend of 57% Ruby, 23% Melnik 55 and 20% Melnik 82.
The varietals are aged separately in used French barrels for 6 months and then another 6 as a finished blend. The wine was bottled on 14.12.2021. without treatments and filtration and is currently resting in total 605 bottles, preparing to present itself to you at its best light. Whether it is fruity, earthy, elegant or noble we are not sure, all we know is that it is anything but laconic. Consume 16-18 degrees. With an open mind and heart.
Suitable foods: Bulgarian cuisine - pork, veal or beef meats grilled or pan-fried, meatballs, kapama, dried meats, feta cheese, various casseroles, mince and leek pies, mushroom dishes.

Замислен като женски винен проект, Bottled Opinions е най-вече изразяване на мироглед, откривателство и разместване на границите. Идеята ни е всяка година да подбираме сортове от различни лозя в страната и да ги претворяваме така, както искаме да ги покажем на публиката. Искаме да правим вина извън масовите, натурални, със стил и визия, които да провокират сърцето и ума. Главната роля играе Десислава Хитова, защото без нейните познания и ръце нямаше да съществуваме. Поддържащата роля се изпълнява от Яна Петкова, която дава приноса си в маркетинговите дейности по проекта.

Thracian valley
In this region, which includes Southern Bulgaria, the climate is temperate continental protected from northern winds thanks to Stara Planina, with good rain distribution. It includes the central parts of the Thracian lowland and parts of Sakar. Most of the red grape varieties are concentrated in this area. Mavrud, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Muscat, Pamid and others are grown. The climatic conditions of the region favour the production of rich, dense, memorable red wines, especially from the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Mavrud. Good wines from the local variety Mavrud are especially valued for their aroma and taste of small red fruits, spices and herbs.
