The grapes for Monopole Clasico 2017 are from Villalba de Rioja vineyards, planted 15 years ago in calcareous soils with eastern exposure at an altitude of over 600 meters. The grapes are hand picked. It is lightly pressed and the must is transferred to concrete tanks for clarification. Medium lemon yellow color. Thanks to the addition of sherry, as well as the biological aging on the lees, very interesting aromas and flavors are obtained. On the nose: complex, revealing a wide range of aromas such as chamomile, apple, pear, some almonds, toasted notes and mineral tones. The body is dense and velvety with a long, fresh and salty finish.
