Rosalea Writer’s Wine Mavrud 2023
I chose this Mavrud for its character and rich fruit profile, which highlights the potential of one of Bulgaria’s iconic grape varieties. I see it as a wonderful choice for a shared dinner featuring red meats, aromatic dishes, and aged cheeses.
Shevka 2024 Yalovo
I included this wine to introduce you to the lesser-known Bulgarian variety Shevka and its unique character. For me, it’s an opportunity to step outside the familiar and discover new wine nuances that complement the pleasant moments around the table.
Via Antica Evmolpia 2025
I chose this Evmolpia because of the intriguing nature of the variety, created by crossing Mavrud and Merlot. I like the idea of including in the selection a wine that combines Bulgarian wine identity with the potential for new taste discoveries.
Tochka Rubin 2024 Tipchenitsa
I added this Rubin to showcase yet another interesting Bulgarian variety with a distinctive fruity profile. I see it as a perfect choice for cozy evenings, grilled dishes, and moments when we want to enjoy a glass of red wine in good company.
