Harmonious, dry and pleasurable, this wine from the familiar and widespread in northern Italy Pinot Bianco variety charms with elegance, delicate aromas of green apple, citrus fruits and exotic flowers. 3/4 of the wine is aged on fine lees for more density and richness of the flavour, with the remainder developing further complexity during this time in large wooden vessels of varying sizes.

Дълготрайна връзка обединява семейство Мацеи с Тоскана и вина от XI век. Сер Лапо Мацеи е автор на първия известен документ, използващ деноминацията „Кианти“ през 1398 г .; през 1435 г., когато внучката му Мадона Смералда Мацеи се омъжва за Пиеро ди Аньоло да Фонтерутоли, холдингът става част от имението на семейството. Оттогава в продължение на 24 поколения фамилията Мацеи произвежда вино в Кастело де Фонтерутоли, което дори след скорошното му разширяване все още остава биещото сърце на компанията. От повече от шестстотин години семейство Мацеи произвежда уникални вина с дух и страст, обновявани от всяко следващо поколение. Във Фонтерутоли, както и в Белгуардо и Зисола, се намира същата философия, която има за цел да популяризира местните сортове като израз на идентичността на региона, по отношение на разнообразието и природата, чрез устойчиво земеделие и подобрения, като се има предвид деликатната хидро- геоложки баланс, за да се предотврати ерозията на почвата и да се увеличат максимално водните запаси в региона. Veneto
Veneto wines are as multifaceted and vast as the region itself. Veneto is smaller than the regions of Piedmont, Tuscany, Sicily, Puglia, but produces more wine than any of them. An incredible fact that can actually be easily understood by only mentioning some of the wines produced here - Amarone, Valpolicella, Soave and - of course - the famous Prosecco. All these wines gained their recognition, especially in the last decades of the 20th century, when Italian wine began its victorious march to conquer the world. The incredible diversity of terroir and relief, varieties and optimal climatic conditions are a prerequisite for the multifaceted presentation of Veneto on the wine scene - from dry, white wines to the sparkling summer temptation of its frizzantes, from light reds to the dense and bold amarone and recioto .
