Verus
Verus was founded by three friends and wine growers, Raiko Zlicar, Danilo Schneider and Bozidar Grabovac in 2007, when they equipped their wine cellar on the premises of a former bakery. Božidar Grabovac spent his childhood in Ormos, 'Mestna graba'. He graduated in viticulture at the Biotechnical Faculty in Ljubljana and got a job in the Jeruzalem Ormož wine cellar, where he was responsible for the selection of vineyards and the production of vine cuttings, and soon after took over the management of the entire vineyard. There he takes care of over 500 hectares of vineyards, and in 2005 he took over the management of marketing. Within a year, with Danilo (then chief oenologist) and Raiko (then sales manager), he managed to make an internationally recognized wine brand. Danilo Schneider is also from Ormos and after high school he decided to study agronomy at the Biotechnical Faculty. In 1997 he graduated with a dissertation in the field of wine marketing. After graduating, he first did an internship in the French wine region of Saumur, then returned and was employed at the Jeruzalem Ormož wine cellar, where after years of extensive work in oenology and marketing he became chief winemaker and winery manager. Today he transfers all his rich knowledge, experience and passion in VERUS wines, which with the first bottling in 2007 won the hearts of many lovers. Today, Verus enjoys a well-deserved interest around the world and has customers in more than 25 countries.

Sauvignon Blanc is one of the most famous white grape varieties, successfully found its way out of the home country France into a second one - New Zealand. The rapid development of the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is one of the most dramatic events in the world of wine. The intense and readily accessible flavour of a classic Marlborough is the main reason behind this success - fruity, intense, almost magical. The key selling point of Sauvignon Blanc is its straightforwardness – the flavours are rarely hidden away in the background, which makes Sauvignon Blanc an ideal wine with which to begin a journey in the world of wine. Classic Sauvignon Blanc aromas range from grass, nettles and asparagus to green apples and to more esoteric notes such as cats' pee, boxwood and gunflint.
