Biscardo
At the end of the 19th century, the Biscardo family had interests in the textile sector, in viticulture, and Grandmother Teresa ran the Tre Corone Hotel in Posta. The winery, founded in 1878, was originally engaged in the wine trade, but in the early decade of the 20th century, thanks to the activities of Terenzio Biscardo, it developed as a producer. In the 30s and 40s, the company expanded to the Italian market as one of the first to produce wine bottles for the catering sector, and in the last years has had its first exports to Switzerland, England and Germany. In the 1950s, thanks to the work of Terenzio's son Luigi in industrial activities, Biscardo became one of the most important companies in the region with the most modern investments in the wine and bottling sector.
