Domaine Ballot-Millot

In 2001 Charles Ballot takes over the management of the family winery, which already has a reputation and begins work aimed at reducing yields and more natural agriculture. Today, the estate has 10 hectares of vineyards, 7 of which are on appeal Meursault. The vineyards are quite old: Perrières (40+), Genevrières (70+), Narvaux (45-60), etc. Charles wines are an expression of the so-called "Roulot-school" trend from Meursault, which has a more saturated and "racial" aromatic profile compared to the round, soft and copper style that has dominated the last 20-30 years.
