Domaine Francois Millet

Bernard and Pierre Millet created the domain in 1930. Domaine Francois Millet is a 2-hour drive from Paris, between Bourges and Nevers, along the Loire River, in Bué, a charming little village surrounded by vines, like a puzzle of thousands of flowers, and has kept its beauty intact. Today the manor is run by a fifth generation of winemakers. It is located on an area of 21 hectares, of which 75% Sauvignon Blanc (from which the white Sancerre is produced) and 25% Pinot Noir (for red and pink Sancerre), which received the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) in 1936. The wines are emblematic of the region and famous all over the world.
