Seven Generations Winery

Many years ago, in 1878, a young man, Iliya Rabchev, left his family in Bulgaria and went to France to study winemaking. Four years later he returned to his native village of Byala Cherkva to found the Rabchev winery. Almost a century later, his descendant Lyuben Rabchev also left Bulgaria and went to America. 40 years later, after the American dream came true and gained wealth, he returned to his homeland to renew the tradition and make a winery in the village of Mechka, on the banks of the Danube. It does not save money in the equipment of the winery in the most modern way, and the standards it sets are of the highest international level. French experts study the terroir and give a high rating. It is no coincidence that the wine Seven Generations Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 received a silver medal from the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
