The Vinho Verde region is the largest Portuguese wine region. It is located in the northwestern part of the country and to the north borders Galicia, Spain, to the west is the Atlantic Ocean, and to the south - a mountain range separating it from Douro. Quinta de Azevedo is located on 40 hectares, of which about 34 ha are vineyards, planted mainly with local varieties, the most distinctive of which are Loureiro and Pedernã.
