Contra Soarda

The love of wine and the land led the Gotthard family to set up a winery in 2002. Contra Soarda, which means "village on the hill", grows vineyards and olive trees using organic farming methods. The 12-hectare vineyards are located near the town of Bassano del Grapa, and the picturesque mountains favor the absence of large amplitudes between day and night temperatures. The volcanic soils on which the vines are planted also contribute to the unique characteristics of the wines produced by Contra Soarda. The wines themselves are characterized by harmony, elegance and purity in taste and aroma.
