Paterianakis

Domaine Paterianakis is a third generation family winery that first introduced the organic grape growing of Fr. Crete. Crete has been producing wine for over 4,000 years. The vineyards grown in Crete are part of his way of life on the island. The winery is located in a semi-mountainous area with an approximate height of 650 m, not far from the capital Heraklion. The winery's own vineyards have been cultivated since 1988. Six unique local varieties and two international varieties are grown, from which wine with a strong individuality is produced. The grape varieties are carefully selected to be fully adapted to the local underground and climatic conditions and always according to the principles of organic farming and environmental protection.
