Owner Stefano Sincini is known for his work in the fashion business for TOD’s and Hogan, but in 1999 he discovered this wonderful place in the Marema region of Tuscany. Amazed by its beauty and the potential of its terroir, it gathers a team of like-minded people, guided by the famous oenologists Carlo Ferrini and Gioia Cresti. Stefano Sincini decides that a place like Pianirossi deserves its own wine, not just a copy of the success of others. Therefore, along with the traditional Tuscany, Sangiovese also plants vines from the Montepulciano area, reorganizing the countertops for maximum use of the terroir. Good exposure and natural slope support easy water drainage. Over time, Pianirossi vines will become a model for the new generation of wineries in Tuscany - with its own style and personality. The mansion also has a wonderful small hotel, from the windows of which you can enjoy a breathtaking view, as well as wildlife among the vines.
