Seña

Seña was originally a joint project between Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi in ​​order to produce wine of the highest world class in Chile. In 1997 the first Seña 1995 was published - a milestone in the history of the country and its wine industry. The grapes for Seña come mainly from organically grown, first-class plots in the Aconcagua wine region. Blends vary according to the harvest, but are usually 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec, 15% Cabernet Franc and a little Petit Verdot. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and then the wine is aged in small oak barrels (75% new) for 22 months. The first few types have been enthusiastically received by critics and connoisseurs, and comparisons are already being made with some of the best Cabernet blends in the world.
