Château Berliquet

Chateau Berliquet is a Grand Cru Classé and has some of the oldest vines in the St. Emilion. In 1784, when much of the wine in the region was sold with the inscription St. Emilion or simply Bordeaux, they have already put the name of the winery. The vineyards are on average 40 years old, planted with 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. The wines are stylish and elegant with a mineral accent. In July 2017, the Wertheimer brothers, owners of the Chanel Group, bought Chateau Berliquet. They own the neighboring Chateau Canon, as well as the Chateau Rauzan Segla in Margaux. Berliquet is a winery that you should watch out for, because the pursuit of perfectionism and fresh investment will still bring results. Progress has been felt in recent years.
