Wine Bridges

The Wine Bridges project presents wines from Balkan varieties and from local winemakers. Nature, history and people are the basis of this project of Ekaterina Gargova. She graduated from the University of Food Technology in Plovdiv in 1994. She has worked in Stamboliyski Cellar, Villa Hissar and Villa Lyubimets. She has several campaigns in California and New Zealand, and in 2010 she was named Oenologist of the Year. He has spent the last 4 years in the wine cellar Popova Kula, town of Demir Kapija (in the wine-growing region of Tikveshiyata, Macedonia), where he works with unknown autochthonous varieties. One of them, Vranets, she presents in three different styles, as part of the Wine Bridges project. We follow Ekaterina's suggestions carefully, because her name is beginning to stand out on the native wine horizon.
