Jean-Luc Colombo

Jean-Luc Colombo's history as an oenologist began in 1984, when he began his career as a consultant. Together with his wife / also an oenologist / they set up an oenological laboratory in Cornas and gained wide popularity with their consultations in the region. Cornas is a French appellation (AOC) on the right bank of the Rhône River, south of Lyon and the birthplace of the Syrah variety. Vineyard after vineyard, Jean-Luc managed to accumulate massifs in the region and in 1994 created Vins Jean-Luc Colombo. He is firmly convinced that there Syrah gives the best expression of his character. Each wine of this winery has a rich individuality. The selection is Jean-Luc's personal - with memorable and vital wines like the family that makes them. Vins Jean-Luc Colombo has a huge influence on the development of modern French winemaking - it is no coincidence that it is also called: The Winemaker Wizard of Rhone.
