Merlot Bogdanitsa

The grapes are from his own vineyards in the locality of Tirovete, in the village of Bogdanitsa, Sadovo municipality. The wine is aged for 8 months in 225 liter French oak barrels, second fill. Deep purple colour with violet tints. The nose is very attractive with plenty of mocha and chocolate, raisin in rum and cognac. The body is medium, ripe and with velvety tannins.

In this region, which includes Southern Bulgaria, the climate is temperate continental protected from northern winds thanks to Stara Planina, with good rain distribution.
