Aromas of black fruits such as black cherry and fine black fruits can be revealed, with hints of leather. The wine has a rich body and elegant tannins while retaining its freshness. It is particularly suitable for consumption with red meats, raw cured meats or even denser carbohydrates.

In this region, which includes Southern Bulgaria, the climate is temperate continental protected from northern winds thanks to Stara Planina, with good rain distribution. It includes the central parts of the Thracian lowland and parts of Sakar. Most of the red grape varieties are concentrated in this area.
