Cantina San Donaci

Cantina San Donaci, one of the oldest companies in the Salento region, was founded in 1933 thanks to the entrepreneurial idea of ​​a group of 12 farmers. After the initial distrust, the first founding members were joined by other farmers, so today they are already over 300 active. Due to its continuity and strong roots in the territory, Cantina San Donaci contributes greatly to the agricultural history of Salice Salentino, becoming an authoritative starting point for Italian oenology. The equipment has the most modern oenological technique, so the attention of the production is focused on increasing the quality of each aspect of the production chain. Only healthy and quality grapes can give quality wine: on this basis, Cantina San Donaci carefully analyzes the quality of the incoming grapes before accepting them for fermentation and processing.
