Domaine la Tasque

Domaine la Tasque is a small family winery that produces new wines from old vines, led by Juliet Bruce Jones, the British Master of Wine and her husband Simon Ingman. The vineyards are located very close to their home - in Languedoc - the heart of Minervois, in a small valley surrounded by wild herbs and coniferous vegetation overlooking an ancient chapel from the IX century. The production relies on manual processing - to create the best, rich and aromatic red wines from Syrah and Karinyan. The Syrah variety is grown in clay-limestone soil with a gray sandy appearance, which allows water retention throughout the growing season. Carignan was planted in Languedoc as early as the 19th century, and today concentrated, mineral wines are produced that reflect the region's beauty. The winery is completely biodynamic.
