Salon

Eugène-Aimé created the first Champagne Salon in 1905 - a beautiful Blanc de Blanc for personal use and enjoyment, which only in the 1920s began to reach other consumers. Salon comes from a one-hectare plot called the "Salon Garden", combined with nineteen other small plots in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, carefully selected by Eugène-Aimé in the early 20th century. The wines are aged for an average of ten years in order to reveal their complexity and finesse. Salon bottles from almost any vintage can still be found in the cellar. In the 20th century, these were practically only 37 vintages, which is a kind of phenomenon in the world of wine. Today, Salon is part of the Laurent-Perrier Group and is run alongside Champagne Delamotte by Didier Depond, president, and Michel Fauconnet is the cellar master and production manager.
