Val delle Corti is a small, family-run farm with four hectares of its own vineyards plus a few more for rent, as well as about 400 olive trees. The winery is located near Radda in Chianti, in the Tuscany region. Since 2014, the production has been certified as organic, and the biodynamic principles are partly followed. The vineyards are between 4 and 40 years old and are between four and five hundred meters high, facing east. For Chianti Classico, 95% of Sangiovese grapes of different ages and 5% of the extremely rare and valuable Canaiolo are used. The youngest vines are for Rosé and Campino, and the oldest, classified as Cru, are made Reserve, but only in the best years. The production is small and the wines have a characteristic purity and finesse.
