Here we have 100% of the rare indigenous Fokiano variety, with the grapes coming from the 50+ year old vineyard of Kallipoi Vintzilaiou on the island of Naxos. The direct pressing obtains the aromas without having extracted too much color. The wine stays on the lees for 8 months.
It has a medium rosé color and delicate aromas of strawberry, cherry, pomegranate, pink grapefruit, white rose, peach and cinnamon. In the mouth it has a medium body, medium acidity and a subtle oily texture. Stone cherry, strawberry, pomegranate, plum, powdered sugar, white tea and yeast compose an elegant bouquet.
