Haralambievi H's Kailash Misket 2022
Vintage 2022 pre-release only with us at Seеwines!
The H`s series contains only wines from local varieties. It expresses the Haralambievi's vision of how, with the right practices in the vineyard and cellar, the typical for the Pleven region Ruby and Kailash Misket can show their merits and become an emblem. The vineyard - "Mogilite" - is located in the middle part of the slope above the source of the river "Peternishka Bara" near the village of. Petarnica, where the soil is shallow grey forest on a karst base with a high clay content and an altitude of about 300 m. The colour is sparkling, pale straw yellow. The nose is intense, with predominant aromas of pineapple, quince, melon, white flowers and injerache. On the palate it is extremely juicy, with enviable freshness and a pleasant aftertaste of citrus fruits and pineapple. The wine is suitable both as an aperitif and paired with fresh leafy salads with citrus dressing, seafood and spicy Asian cuisine.

The area stretches from the banks of the Danube to the slopes of Stara Planina, covering the fertile Danube plain. It is characterised by a temperate-continental climate with hot summers and a large number of sunny days. The main varieties are Muscat Otonel, Gamza, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Aligote, Pamid and others. The region produces dry white wines, some sparkling wines by using the classical method and some quality red wines with rich fruity aroma and fresh taste. Gamza is the typical local variety, also known in Serbia and Hungary as Kadarka. It is a red variety, grown mostly in the regions of Vidin and Pleven, which ripens in late September and gives fresh, fruity and pleasantly harsh wines with a typical aroma of raspberries and wild red berries.
