A wine from the family-owned Domaine de la Clapière estate of Castel Freres, a typical representative of the Languedoc-Roussillon area with a luscious body and attractive nose. The blend is made predominantly from Merlot featuring Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, which gives the nose a particular charm - notes of liquorice and roasted plums with cinnamon predominate. Wonderful as a companion to stew meat or grilled.
