Château La Conseillante

La Conseillante is located on the border between St. Emilion and Pomerol. In 1871 the Nicolas family bought the estate. The 12 hectares of vines have been in the same place and with the same owners since then. Thus, the winery retains its individuality and specific style for more than five generations. Merlot predominates (70%), which feels good in the alluvial soil typical of this appeal, followed by Cabernet Franc (25%) and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is easy to like La Conseillante because of the beautiful and refined aromas and the fine silk texture. It is often called the Burgundy of Bordeaux.
