Domaine Pierre Gaillard

Domaine Pierre Gaillard was founded in 1986 with 25 hectares of vineyards and is located in the medieval town of Malleval in the Rhone Valley. The plots were gradually increased and in 2002 the Madeloc manor in Banyuls-sur-Mer was established, and in 2007 the Cottebrune manor in Faugères. Today, Domaine Pierre Gaillard manages a total of 77 hectares, and the vines are located on steep hills that descend to the river. Pierre Gaillard makes great efforts to bring the phenolic and alcoholic ripening of the grapes at the same time. The leaves are thinned to reach maximum sun to the grape bunches, which in turn directly affects the color and structure of the wine.
