Château De Beaucastel
Филтър
The Château de Beaucastel has 200 hectares of vineyards, making it one of the largest wine estates in the Châteauneuf du Pape region. It has been run by several generations of the Perrin family. They have an impressive portfolio of wines that represent the complexity and diversity of terroir in the Rhone Valley. Beaucastel is characterized by the fact that its blends include all 13 varieties allowed for appeal, with Mourvèdre often reaching one third of the final blend. Another specificity is the controversial vinification & quot; á chaud & quot ;, which involves rapid heating of the grapes, which extracts color and aroma and kills bacteria and organisms. Beaucastel wines are aged in 500-liter oak containers called foudre. They are bottled with light clarification and without filtration. Adding the low yields and high quality grapes, you will understand why Beaucastel is a leading winery in the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
